Many Evergreen Owners have overgrown trees on their lots. So, what’s the problem with that? Actually, it’s a big problem for the Association, because these trees are rubbing against the exterior of residences, pushing under eaves, and laying on top of roofs. This situation is causing damage; however, the HOA has maintenance responsibility for these areas. Who pays? Every member pays because the costs for repairing stucco, painting, fixing gutters, and replacing roof tiles are charged to all homeowners. What’s the solution? Be a good owner and keep your trees trimmed short.
